EQStarPROII harmonic drive 8/13 – DIY kit for development and assembling Harmonic Mount with payload 8/13 kg

Key features:

1) High positioning and tracking accuracy is achieved thanks to precision harmonic gearboxes. The periodic error of the drive is approximately ±10 arc seconds. Powerful harmonic drive provides a high gear ratio of 1:200, ensuring stable transmission of high torque at rated payload.

2) High load capacity of harmonic drives can withstand a payload of up to 8 kg without counterweights and a payload of up to 13 kg with the addition of counterweights.

3) EQStarPROII control system provides silent, smooth and precise control of the mount both autonomously and using a computer or mobile device (phone, tablet, etc.).
For control from a PC, you can use the EQMod, Green Swamp Software (GSS) or SynScan PRO applications. EQStarPROII can work with any astronomical programs that support the ASCOM (Windows OS) and INDI (Linux OS) platforms. For example, with the Stellarium planetarium, Cartes du Ciel, StarCalc, KStars and others. Of the astrophotography and guiding programs, EQStarPROII supports NINA, MaximDL, APT, SGP, PHDGuiding and others.

For control from mobile devices, EQStarPROII works with the SynScan APP, SkySafari PLUS (PRO) and Stellarium Mobile applications.

EQStarPROII interacts with a PC via a USB cable from the standard kit, and with a mobile device – via Wi-Fi. EQStarPROII also supports work with a ZWO ASIAIR mini PC via a USB cable or via Wi-Fi.

EQStarPROII is equipped with a universal push-button joystick for manual control. It allows you to control the mount autonomously, without a computer, smartphone or tablet.
